Mix the instant coffee and the hot water. Stir it well and pour it into your coffee cup.
Heat the milk in a glass container for 1 minute then froth the warmed milk for another minute with a handheld frother. You’re aiming for a foam layer that is as thick as a finger — 15mm, to be precise.
Slowly pour the frothed milk into the coffee.
Carefully aim your milk for the middle of the cup to create a milky dot when finished pouring.
