There is currently no paper packaging that protects the coffee from quality-reducing effects such as oxygen and water until the best-before date.
No, we use the same recipe for the soft pack as for our popular NESCAFÉ® GOLD Blend glass jar.
Unfortunately, the entire coffee contents in a 200g soft pack would not fit in your empty NESCAFÉ® GOLD Blend 200g glass. After filling the 200g jar in our factories, the jar is then vigorously shaken by our machines. This compresses the coffee granules and fits them perfectly into the glass.
Manual refilling can’t be compared to industrial filling. You would have to shake and tap the jar again and again, so that 200g of granules fit into a 200g jar and settle and distribute perfectly. So, some complex intermediate steps would be necessary so that 200g would fit into an empty NESCAFÉ® GOLD Blend glass. Because we want to make refilling as easy as possible for you, we chose 150g for the contents of our soft pack. This means you can refill your empty glass jar without any problem.
